What's the timeline to get a project started with your company?
Our timeline to begin work is almost completely dependent on the manufacturer. For example, some projects like Roofing typically have the materials in stock. In those cases we’re able to install within 2-3 weeks. For other services such as windows & doors, we’re 6-8 weeks out to install.
Do you sub out all of your work?
No. We have full time in-house W2 employees who install the majority of our work. We also have long standing relationships with crews to handle our roofing, siding, and decking projects.
Do you work year round?
Yes, we work year round. The only thing that stops us is inclement weather.

On our website, we go into detail about every single manufacturer we use. If you choose to get a free consultation, one of our experts will gladly educate you with the products we use, bringing brochures, samples, and completed photos of other similar projects.

What happens if it rains during the installation of my roof?
The nature of the storm/inclement weather will determine if we can complete the installation on the scheduled date. We will likely need to reschedule an installation date to ensure quality and proper installation. Each course of action is determined on a case-by-case basis. However, we will ensure that your roof installation is completed in a timely manner despite possible obstacles that occur!
What's the difference between four-season sunrooms and three-season sunrooms?
A four–season sunroom is built to be used year–round, while a three–season sunroom is only meant to be used during the spring, summer, and fall. Four–season sunrooms typically have more insulation and a better heating and cooling system than three–season sunrooms.
How do I know when it's time to replace my siding?
If you see cracks, holes, or other damage, your siding may need to be replaced. You may also want to consider replacing your siding if it is outdated or if you want to change the look of your home. If you’re still unsure if you need a siding replacement or just a repair, call S&S Remodeling Contractors!
I live on a busy street, can siding help with noise reduction?
Siding can help with noise reduction to a certain extent. It can act as a barrier between the noise source and your home, but it will not eliminate noise. If you are concerned about noise, you may want to consider other noise reduction methods such as insulation or soundproofing.

I had S&S replace siding and repair wood structures that had deteriorated underneath the siding, on a steep roof. I needed the issue fixed quickly because water had started to leak through. They were very responsive and professional. They discussed the job thoroughly with me and communicated throughout the work. I have confidence that the repairs were done completely and properly.

We have a sun room that was previously screened in and the screens were broken. They ripped out the screens and replaced with double sliding windows in one day. They were fantastic! Everything turned out better and was done quicker than expected.

Everyone from S&S Remodeling who worked on my sunroom project was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Gavin came out to look at the job and really wanted to know exactly what I was looking for. He helped with ideas when I was unsure. Nancy in the office kept me informed of the permit process and the timeline for work to start. Billy and Oliver who did the actual installation (in the middle of winter, no less) were more than professional! Billy was incredibly knowledgeable and paid extra attention to the small details along with Oliver who made sure that the worksite was cleared of all debris and that my door lock worked like a charm! I'm so thankful they braved the cold and gave me a beautiful sunroom just in time to sit and enjoy watching the first snow storm of 2026. I would highly recommend S&S Remodeling.
